I've tried posting a few times in the past weeks... I get about half way thought, and I have to stop, and do something else.

What's been going on recently?
I've been watching Family Guy Sex Clips and laughing so hard that milk comes out my nose.... Although I don't remember drinking any milk.. Hmm....
Last week We went to The Melting Pot with some friends. It was so good. Fondue may not sound like a good dinner, but it really is. You get your choice of salads, The appetizer is the melted cheese that everyone always associates with fondue, buy you get to pick the cheeses and the style. The main course is meats, fish, and veggies that you boil in a fondue pot full of a broth. We always get the Mojo style, which is like white wine, and lime, and very tasty. There are other choices, but that's ours. your meats are cut into fondue fork sizes, and you just squer them with your fork, and stick them in the broth. Despite the fact that all of your meats and veggies are cooked in the same broth, they alll have a distinctive taste. And then comes the Chocolate Fondue. If you have ever seen a chocolate fountain and thought "That would be awesome!" then you need to try this. So good. Strawberries, Banana, angelfood, marshmellows, rice crispy treats.... all to be dunked in molten chocolate. Yummy!!! It's a little pricy... around $100 for the "Big Night Out" which includes Salad, Appetizer, Main courrse, and desert for 2 people, but you leave FULL.
The wife and I were fighting a bit before going... but things got a little better after that. Good thing too. I'm really getting sick of fighting with her. She's not a bad person. She's certinally not stupid. She and I have so many interestes in common... But we still manage to fight... ALOT. About the most rediculous things. We were arguing about Soaker Hoses for the garden... And I was agreeing with her... and we were still fighting. BUT I WAS AGREEING WITH HER!!!!! *deep sigh*
Our gardening stuff arrived the other day. But we are going on a vacation to Vermont the week I wanted to do some garden work. When we went to Florida/ Disney a while back, we stayed at Orange Lake, and took one of their sales pitch seminars. Part of it was an option to stay at one of their resorts, for a fee... We decided to check out the Vermont resort. So we FINALLY have that scheduled.... Every week we wanted to go, they said they didn't have any availability. I wish we could go skiiing... but between the small children, and the unborn child... I don't think that is going to happen. SO we have decided to take a leisurely vacation.. which is SO unlike us.
I also got a new Laptop. Gateway FX. 2 guys at the office have ones... but they have the older model. My model has a better videocard, but theirs has the better screen. WTF is that? CNET did a review, and said that the screen is the single downfall of this model, but it's still the best gaming laptop for the money... And since money is something I don't have a whole lot of... I'll take it, lousy screen and all. We did pretty well at the office, so we got a decent bonus, and I got a decent raise. So I put that into a laptop.
My kids also have a sudden new interest in computers. My son is watching Ben 10 on hulu.com. My daughter wants to "Google things". I just want to play videogames. When my wife saw my laptop, she said "Oh My God... yours could eat mine!' That made me smile just a bit. ;-)
We are also getting ready for the new baby. We dug the old basinet and babyswing out of the garage. It all looks like it's in good condition, but may need a good wash. The wife says she's looking at buying some cloth diapers... I wasn't so sure about that, but it seeems ok. They are a little more high tech than the "wad of cloth on a baby's ass", so they should be alright. It goes along with that whole "organic, carbon footprint, save the planet" thing. I like the idea... but... I didn't like diapers as it was! :-P
ok... I guess that's all I have to write now. Back to Family Guy. More entries soon... I hope.
