Oooohhhhhaaaa! Freak Out!
So last night was final dress rehearsal for Kismet.
One detail was missing… that would be my costumes… all of them for the 1st act. Oh My God. The costumer had a mental breakdown and screwed up all of my costumes for Act I. I have 56 seconds to change out of the first costume into the second in the middle of a song, now I don’t even know what the costume I’m changing into looks like because the one she made is so ugly that the director doesn’t want me to wear it on stage. Don’t know what shoes I’m going to wear either… considering I don’t know what color the new costume is going to be! I’m FREAKING OUT!
My friend Dan is playing the Wazir (the male comedic lead) and he doesn’t have his costume either. Nor do several of the dancers. I really feel for them… they have to dance in these costumes for the first time in front of an audience.
