I pancaked. Traditional Shrove Tuesday ones here are kind of a thick crepe.

I lie to myself that they're bread, same with brioche. In the supermarket both are in the 'bread' section, not the pastry or cake section.

....but then so are the croissants.

I was banned from drinking coke or pepsi as a child. But got red wine cut with soda instead.
