In other news...
On my way home LATE last night I noticed the car behind me the last couple miles was /right behind/. Then I'm in my town and they are taking every turn I take. Only they are not using a turn signal.
This happens sort of frequently in spite of the late hour. Sometimes coworkers happen to be going in the same direction.
But I am paranoid and I make a point of NOT going directly home when I see a car that seems to be following me. Usually a turn before my street or just sailing by my house to circle the block and the other car carries on to their destination.
Last night I had that prickling on my neck so I turned the wrong way on the main road, pulled up to a pump in the bright lights of the 24 hour gas station. Where they have cameras.
I watched my rear view and did not see the car go by.
After awhile I pull out, see a cop parked across the street and then notice the SUV that had been following me had parked at the gas station. Its brake lights came on as I passed.
But...the cop pulled me over at the end of the street and gave me a ticket for my missing car registration (what mailed notification?)
I asked if he'd seen an SUV had followed me into the gas station?
"Yes, Mame. I got his plate and he's my next stop!"
