The last part! I hope you like it :D
Dominic’s eyelids were heavy; he struggled to open them. His body was numb and exhausted. A piece of paper lay on the bedside table; he slowly stretched his arm and got hold of it. He had to read it twice before he was able to understand what stood on it.
‘Be here tonight, please?’
He knew he should leave; his blood loss was big. His eyes were tired and so was his body, he was exhausted. Even just the thought of moving was tiring. A sigh escaped his lips and his eyes closed. Dom had a debate with himself in his head; should he leave or should he stay? In the end he settled on staying for two reasons: he was too tired to move and Matthew awoke interest in him.
Matthew had killed his own family for the sake of a house, but yet he had made sure Dom was comfortable. Why was that? Dom had no clue, but he wished he knew. If only he was brave enough to ask.
Due to the lack of food and blood loss, Dominic was extremely tired and fell asleep again, still holding the note in his hand.

In the cellar, Matthew got up from a good day’s sleep. A curious expression was plastered on his face; would Dominic still be there or would he have done the logical thing and left?
Matthew tiptoed up the stairs to the ground floor and tried to not make a single sound as he did so. For a second or two, he stopped outside the door to the bedroom. Should he just walk straight in or should he knock? He settled on knocking.
First, a single gentle knock. There was no answer. He tried again, a little louder this time, but there was still no answer. Prepared to find the room empty, Matthew walked into the room, where to his surprise, he found Dom sleeping in the bed.
With silent footsteps, Matthew walked over to the bed where the blond slept. He noticed that Dominic held the note in his hand. Had he read it and gone back to sleep? One of his pale fingers poked Dom’s shoulder, but there was no response. He tried again, but a bit harder.
“Gorgeous? Are you awake?” Matthew tried but there was no answer. He took hold of Dominic’s shoulders and shook his body gently. “Dominic?”
Dominic yawned and stretched his arms before opening his eyes. What he saw surprised him: he saw a smiling Matthew. The smile wasn’t evil or lust filled; it was warm and happy.
“Hi, gorgeous,” the owner of the smile said.
“Hi,” Dom replied.
“Did you choose to stay or did you fall asleep again?” Matthew asked. “If that is the case, you are free to go.”
Matthew could not believe what he had just said. He had given Dominic a choice and a chance to escape; he never gave anyone a choice or a chance to escape.
What should he say? Dominic’s brain was working at full speed; he had to pick the right answer now. He knew that leaving was the right choice, his blood loss was great and another night spent with Matthew would kill him, but he couldn’t let go of him.
“I chose to stay,” Dom said.
With a smile Matthew kissed Dominic’s lips. “I am so happy to hear that because you taste absolutely fantastic!”
Matthew lay down in bed with Dom and bit gently at his bottom lip. A pair of porcelain coloured hands travelled south and undid Dominic’s pants. Dom could feel a cold hand wrapping around his length and stroking slowly.
While his hands focused on the lower part of Dom’s anatomy Matthew’s mouth was focused on Dom’s mouth. He sucked and bit at his lip as tongue made sure it knew every inch of Dom’s mouth.
The strokes sped up and Dom moaned in pleasure. “Fuck! You’re good with your hand.”
“I have had many years to practise,” Matthew said with a smirk.
“Bet you have,” Dominic moaned.
Matthew sped up the stokes and it didn’t take long before Dom was on the edge
“Fuck, I’m going to come!”
Just as Dom said those words, Matthew bit down on Dom’s neck and Dom was lost in bliss.
The blood tasted so sweet in Matthew’s mouth that he didn’t want to stop, but he knew that if he kept going he would kill Dominic. But why did he care? Dominic was just another human, wasn’t he? Matthew wasn’t sure. He stopped drinking, hoping that Dom would survive.
When he sat up in the bed, he saw that just like the nights before, Dominic had passed out. Two fingers found their way to an artery. Dom’s pulse was unstable and he didn’t have long left. Maybe one, maximum two hours.
Matthew had two different options he could choose between now. The demon in the Bellamy Mansion could return or he could change Dom. He had never changed anyone before; he just didn’t care enough for anyone to change them. Instinct told him to let the demon return, but the emotions from last night told Matt to change him, and once again, the emotions won.
He dressed Dominic, took him in his arms and carried him down to the cellar. Apart from the bedroom, the cellar was the only part of the house Matthew actually used. Matthew placed Dom on an old couch that had a place along one of the walls.
Sitting on his knees, Matthew studied Dominic. There was something about him that woke emotions in Matthew that he had never felt before. Not only did his blood have a delicious and unique taste, but he was also the most beautiful human Matthew had ever seen. He couldn’t kill him.
While shaking his head at himself for getting emotional, Matthew got up. He remembered how hungry he had been when he was first made and thought he better have some food ready.
“Hang on there, I am coming back soon,” Matthew whispered as he walked up the staircase from the cellar.
Matthew walked down the path from the front door, hoping that there would be at least one person standing outside wanting to take a look inside the haunted mansion. Luck proved to be on his side that night, because just inside the gateway, a couple in their early twenties stood admiring the mansion.
“Hi there!” Matthew shouted. “Would you like to take a look inside? I am doing some research on the house and therefore I have permission to go inside. Want to join me?”
“Really? We’d love to do that!” the female answered. “I’m Carla, by the way, and this is Lenny.”
“Nice to meet you both,” Matthew replied and offered them his hand. “My name is Matthew.”
The three of them walked together to the Bellamy Mansion; Carla chatted away, but Matthew didn’t really pay any attention to what she was saying. When they stood in the entrance Matthew hit them both in the head with a punch that he knew would knock them out, but not kill them. Fresh blood tasted so much better than blood that was not being pumped around in a body.
He dragged them down to the cellar, not caring if they got hurt on the way. When he reached the cellar, he tied their arms and feet together and gagged them. He couldn’t bear the thought of terrified and screaming humans.
“Dominic?” Matthew asked as he woke Dominic from his sleep.
“Hrmf, I’m so tired, let me sleep,” he answered.
“I am sorry but if you sleep more now, you are going to die,” Matthew warned him.
“I know,” Dominic muttered.
“Not if you do as I say,” Matthew said and bit down in his own palm. “Here, drink this.”
Dom hungrily drank the blood Matthew offered him. When Dom had had enough, Matthew pulled his hand back and watched as the wound healed. Dominic closed his eyes and fell asleep once more; the change had begun. Now all Matthew could do was to wait for Dominic to wake up.
While he waited, the two human blood banks woke up. They were terrified and tried to make as much sound as possible.
“Oh, shut up! You should have known better than to trust someone who is nearly 200 years old,” Matthew said to them. That shut them up for a while, before they started to cry.

“What the fuck is going on with me? Why am I so hungry?” Dominic said as he sat up on the couch. “Why do I want blood? Why does those two smell so delicious?”
“Because you are like me now,” Matthew said. “Follow me.”
Dom followed Matthew over to the two humans.
“Bite down on his neck like this,” Matthew said and bit down in Carla’s neck.
Dominic did the same to Lenny. He sucked every single drop of blood out of him. Matthew only drank enough from Carla to cover his own blood loss and so Dominic was offered the rest of her, too, and he didn’t hesitate to accept her.

“Matthew? Can I ask you something?” Dom asked as sunrise lurked around the corner and Matthew explained him the basics of being a vampire.
“Of course you can,” Matthew answered.
“Why did you change me?” Dominic asked. “You could have just let me die.”
Matthew smiled and kissed Dominic. “That is why. You are special.”
