I agree, I was glad to see the layers of Mini's character and how complex her life was. The breakfast made me so so sad, and I was actually genuinely shocked to find out that she'd only been going out with Nick for a month. It seems hardly enough time to have all those photos and everything. And the way she kept pushing everyone away, convinced that Nick was the only person who really cared, when the people she was pushing away were her best friends. The bit that really hit me was when she went home and started chucking on the fake tan and doing her hair, because it felt so self destructive.

I'm still not keen on Nick - he just seemed like he wasn't as invested in the relationship as Mini, although I do feel as though he might have been more understanding than Mini thought he would be if she'd told him everything. But still, he was a bit pushy and he had sex with Mini's best friend and he kind of acted like he couldn't be bothered with the hassle of the relationship once he found out how complicated Mini was.
