Allow me to share with you Carolyn (and the directorial dream team)'s assessment of my work during Pippin, all completely true and kind of hilarious.

"Michele, we are so pleased that you were able to join us in the position of Assistant Stage Manager. You were vital to the success of the production. You were very positive at the outset, and then we noticed that you became somewhat distracted, less focused and less enthusiastic. You, in fact, addressed some of this in your comments during closure. Perhaps you felt you were not as busy as you wanted to be, but those early weeks were crucial in your learning the flow of the show, and who was doing what. At the same time, you seemed somewhat resistant when asked to do small, yet nevertheless vital tasks that were necessary for the rehearsal process and are a part of a stage manager's job. In the final weeks, as we went into production, you became much more positive and helpful, and you did an excellent job of working with Carl, keeping track of all our sound needs, and working with the rest of the crew and all the actors. Thank you for all your hard work and support!

Oh man. That is so incredibly true it almost makes me feel bad that they noticed. Almost.

PS - some youtube videos that you must watch. Now.
