1. To blog more! Addicted to Pinterest like the rest of of the 'crafty' people I know, but in general this is a good way to digitally document what goes on, in a more permanent fashion than updating my FB status. I had 7 entries total in 2011. Going to aim for 3-4 per month this year.

2. Take care of body - this one is ALWAYS on the list. I'm actually heavier now than I was 2 weeks after giving birth to Sara, so that has GOT to change. I tried on the outfit I wore for our rehearsal dinner to go out for our anniversary last week, and it did NOT fit by a long shot. I would like to be able to wear it this coming anniversary. My goal is to loose 40 pounds this year, which is doable in 52 weeks, if I will set my mind to it and find a plan that fits my current crazy life.

3. Follow through on plans:
- a field trip for my orchestra kids
- a movie themed (ticketed?) concert
- concerto competition (plus, how do these fit in spring concert schedule?)
- organize 1 day family retreat for church - book pavilion at Fort Yargo
- talk to music director about handbells and their future

4. Finish crafts that have been started (see previous entry). I am also caught up in the sweep of new year's cleaning/organizing, and would like to see some of the clutter disappear, while realzing I will never have that pristine 'magazine' house while I have small kids. Right now i will settle for hanging up several decorative & shelving items.

5. Read through the Bible again and/or find a good study to work thorough, that book has been very neglected by me...honestly since having kids. I would love to find a Bible study that again, fits in my schedule, and I don't feel like takes me away from my time with my kids.

I guess a lot of these center around the elusive idea of balance - a concept I have found increasingly hard to find with 2 kids now, trying to say no or drop responsibilities at church, feeling like I don't do enough at school...not sure that cycle will ever end.
