The Dude Has Spoken
Well, we have official first word, and it is 'bu-bye" - complete with hand wave. He was doing it echoing adults on Monday, and did it completely unprompted after crawling away from us into the kitchen last night. This probably does not bode well, that my baby's first word is "see ya!" - especially since he is the son of Corey Duncan, aka "The child who got into EVERYTHING." His new favorite toy is my alarm clock, the boy loves punching buttons. He can turn the TV on and off, and much to his father's chagrin, the X-box as well.
He's pulling up, standing whenever possible, and doing some cruising, which is taking steps while holding on to things. I keep hearing once he learns to walk my life is o-v-e-r. We are experimenting with new foods, but he has become a little pickier in his old age. I've also been making more of his foods, which has been fun; we'll see what he thinks of the motherload of spinich I made last night. Mike picked up a Flash costume for David, which we of course immediately put him in and took pictures. Once I find them I will be sure to upload. Time to go listen to some rockin' viola sightreading at county honor orchestra auditions.
