Summertime fun!
Can't believe I've been out of school 3 weeks, it has been a nice combination of staying home with baby (I can't call it traditional summer laziness - like I told Corey, I don't have a "summer off," i just switched jobs, from working mom to full time mom!) and hanging out with friends and family. I've been trying to walk more and plan out meals in advance, since I have the time. The house is not as clean as I would like for it to be, but it's hard to do a lot with a baby in hand, who is now scared of the vacuum!
Today we went to the zoo with both grandmas, and that was great fun. Not that David got too much out of it, if the animals were moving he would watch, if they were still, not so much. But it was cute, and the 3 of us enjoyed ourselves, none of us had been in a while, a lof of the displays have changed, and the boy was sweet the whole time. Giant Tortoise - for some reason I thought this was one of the coolest animals there.
Tiger- actually this close, right on the other side of the glass!
pooh and friends - you know I had to, but I did not buy the outfit or any of the stuffed animals!
