Here, our intrepid hero is met with something of a dilemma. I'm meeting a friend tonight whose birthday approacheth and I have therefore cunningly decided to go to Borders en route and buy him a birthday present. The only problem with this plan is that Borders sell both (a) books and (b) CDs, both of which have been known to tempt Aidan into impluse purchases before now. I therefore find myself going against my usual habit of leaving more time than I expect to need for things, on the grounds that if I'm in a rush, I shall just buy the aforementioned pressie and not get distracted. The ridiculous nature of this situation amuses me.
