At the Kaya, as usual, but today I'll be doing homework with Kathryn, my "wingman" from choir so it shouldn't be too boring. Now if only this dull throb at the base of my skull would go away and let me concentrate! Stupid pain.
So yeah, go CHIPS, were like #1 in the MAC West now. Totally awesome..never thought I'd see it while being here.
But then again the last few days have been "never thought I'd see" type days. Much pain too. Really sucks.
Though there is a bit of good. I have my first solo EVER in roughly a month. I've been asked by my National Guard friend to sing the National Anthem at the basketball opener for Kalkaska HS. Really excited, really scared...
Stupid papers...I have a never ending supply it seems. Guess it just comes with the territory. At least being an English major has paid off...it got me out of doing an assignment in military science working with the Army Writing style (which royally sucks b/c it's about being concise but if you're like me and you have a large vocabulary you end up struggling b/c they absolutely hate words with more than 3 syllables...no shit about that either). I though the MAJ was joking about exempting me...he wasn't. I had to laugh.
Got my grade for the chosen war project. Got full credit, with a comment about how he liked our making fun of Gen. Burnside (who wore mutton chops and sideburns, hence the name).
Life...
