Merry Christmas
Looks like we'll be having a Very "Brookwood" Christmas. Thought Mama would come home today, but that's not gonna happen. Someone out there....not her Doctors, but someone to do with Blue Cross....doesn't think she's "well" enought to come home. Uh...hello!!! HAVE YOU COME TO SEE HER?!!?! Do you know that if she wasn't hooked up to all the CRAP she's hooked up too that she, in her own words, "Would be at Walmart right now finishing her Christmas shopping??" For real....that's how good she feels! She wants real food and Walmart...that's Mama! But, they don't think its a good idea so they want her to stay there until she's completely healed, which HER Dr. had told us before would be FOUR TO SIX WEEKS!! UGH!!! Oh well....we can't complain. She's healing beautifully and the faster she heals the quicker we get the chemo started and over with and behind us and the sooner we can get hyped for THE WEDDING!!!
