Goods and Bads
Yesterday was full of goods and bads.....my day was very fluctual....is that a word?? You know? Like, my day fluctuated between good and bad??
Good: Waking up to such a handsome husband who sometime in the night has gotten his arm around me without me knowing it!! He's sneaky, b/c I a NOT a snuggler when trying to sleep, but it was actually nice, so, don't tell him, but I might be coming around to the whole snuggling thing!
Bad: Waking up! I hate having to wake up....
Good: Nice, LONG, HOT shower...
Bad: No time to curl my hair b/c of the lengthy shower.
Good: Loading my t.v. and new DVD player in the car along with my Charlie and the Chocolate Factory DVD to show my kiddies.
Bad: Traffic!@ UGH!!
Good: I got a new student and she's super sweet and super well behaved and super smart. Makes my job easy!
Bad: My only break taken up by a meeting in which the person I was meeting with was late making me late for lunch...ugh!! But,
Good:I got complimented, AGAIN, on how well I'm doing on my own and a first timer!! Go Me!! And, I got a sticker and sweet tarts for my good job!!
Bad: Yucky lunch.....
Good: Found out that 3 more of my kids paid to go on our Christmas field trip which was just enough to ensure that we don't have to cancel the trip b/c we don't have enough paid people going!! AND!!!! My student that was displaced from the hurricane is being paid for by the feds, so he gets to go with us now!!! That made my day!!
Bad: Left remote control at home so couldn't show Charlie to the kids who were heartbroken and mad at me!! UGH!!
Good: Art time!! Forgot we had art which means Mrs. Carter gets ANOTHER break!! Which is used to hunt down a T.V. that my DVD player would work with and FOUND ONE!!!!
Bad: Assembly!! And assembly that I knew nothing about, which I HATE!! I hate interruptions in my day, especially if it interrupts Charlie and the Choc Factory!! : )
Good: Popped popcorn, marshmellows, licorace, and movie time till 3:00....even better: we didn't finish the movie which means we just HAVE to finish it on Monday!! : )
Bad: Left for work and got to K--Mart only to realize I left my wallet @ school and had to go back and get it.
Good: Forgot that Lesson Plans were due, so quickly scooped those up to turn in while getting my wallet!! See, even though I griped at myself for being forgetful, it was totally a God thing b/c I had work to turn in and now won't be written up!! YEAH, GOD!!
Bad: FIVE 'O CLOCK TRAFFIC!!! Ugh
Good: Long coversation with Mama....I love to have car ride covo's with her on the way to and from work everyday!! Good thing we have free mobile to mobile!!
Bad: Too late to go to T-town to see Emipre in Ruins!!! Sorry, Nick!! I really tried!
Good: Chicken Little with Justin and Danielle, then on to the pet store and wings.
Bad: Found out the cat LeAlan wants is THREE HUNDRED....HUNDRED,PEOPLE, DOLLARS!!! Excuse me?!?!? Have you lost your mind?!?!?
Good: Warm, comfy bed with a snuggly husband (and I didn't complain) and the knowledge that I don't have to get up early!! YIPEEE!!! Ah, the joys of being a school teacher!!
