Well i'm back from the Youth Specialties convention. It never fails I go to something like this and I get back in the groove of my christianity and prayer life. YS was awesome I learned a lot of stuff I can put forward in my ministry and to especially help with the video editing I do for the church. But I think the time alone I had away from work and away from my comfort zone helped more than anything. We got this free devotional by Mike Yaconelli and Its kinda like a journal devotion so I am going to do it here. Its really for my personal gain but if you'd like to comment feel welcome to.

10 things that make me Different from everyone else:
1. Gods Desire for my Life
2. My Spiritual gifts
3. Devin
4. I have a freckle on the tip of my finger...
5. I see this spot in my vision everyonce in a while (they call it a floater)
6. fingerprints
7. my fuzziness
8. my tolerance for all
9. my environment
10. my truth
The more I try to be like everyone else the more I build walls around myself. I need to tear down the walls. I need to celebrate who I am. Today I will be me, I will not try and impress someone with simple stories that come to my mind that never happened. I will not fudge the truth. I will uphold, claim, and be truth today. Because Jesus is the way the TRUTH and the life, and through him today I will live truth. I desire a pure and holy passion to be real today and everyday that follows.
