Yeah, I'm planning a little ahead.
This year, for Baby Cousin (just past a year old now) and to-be-born-MalfactorBaby(Malbebe), I want to designish (not hard, steal parts of other patterns) a raglan baby cardigan to look like a classic denim jacket, a la

I found a few patterns for the elements - collar, mostly - will do some math, measure some baby/Toddler jackets, and use Rowan Denim yarn or the Elann.com equivalent. Button band, collar, cuffs, and bottom band will be in something like woven stitch or linen stitch - a flat, durable stitch.
Yay, making a pattern AND sizing it! Eep!
