By now all the visitors who have arrived in the first few days of the influx are housed in Gailardia's manor. They are not being kept under house arrest, but they are escorted everywhere they need or choose to go. It is for their own safety -- for many of them would be poorly-received by the people of this world -- as much as for the public good... After all, the sight of the dead walking could cause panic; a woman who looks suspiciously like the princess of Kimlasca could cause a great deal of trouble with her perceived authority...
And Blade, the original visitor, is kept under lock and key in the royal palace -- something is not quite right with him.
