"Those going with Sephiroth are as follows: Cloud one, Cloud two, Zax, Aerith, and Zack, plus you five." He gestured to a small knot of the SOLDIERs. "Leela. You are with Loz. You" -by this he meant Vincent- "

Her face was a study of shock and 'oh shit'. Slowly she found herself turning, her eyes staring over at her new 'partner'. This was so much worse than what she'd thought of. She thought she'd be with Zax, or maybe Sephiroth, or - dammit. She'd never even dreamed that Yazoo would put her into this type of partnership.

"No probs, we'll handle it" Even in her ears, her voice sounded faint, subdued.

Loz settles for casting Yazoo a look, ignoring Leela for the moment. What is Yazoo thinking?

It goes without saying that Zax wants one of the Seal-All combos for his group. He retrieves the appropriate orbs almost as soon as Yazoo stops talking, rolling them around in his hand as he heads back to the others.

"All right," he says, grinning faintly, "who wants to be in charge of singing the lullabies?"

"I've got just enough room for a combo if no one else does. We can always switch if one of us runs out of juice..." Cloud offers, then whispers, "...Am I Cloud One or Cloud Two?"

Zax nods. "Cool. Unless someone else thinks they can't live without it, it's yours." He glances around for any backup takers. "Who wants to be the secondary when and if Cloud runs out? And hey - Aerith, you still have that Seal of yours?"

This said, he whispers back, "... I'd guess Cloud One? You were here first..."

"Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! I mean, I will, sir..." Enthusiastic MP volunteers enthusiastically.

Reno jogs in, stretching once he finally stops and looking around at the gathering. "Ohho, good. I didn't miss the party, z'to."

There's a chuckle from somwwhere behind him. "It's not exactly a party without fireworks, you know," Rude murmurs as he cracks his knuckles.

"Electric sparklies and fireworks. Eheheh, you know how I love things flashy, partner." He turns to give him one of those devious GRINS.

"Very much so," Rude says with a bit of a smirk. "My question is where does the line start?"

Twenty minutes wasn't bad, and Cloud decided to spend it calming the fire-lizard and giving him his instructions one more time. While he wasn't entirely thrilled about his plan to use Ravi as the psychic equivalent of a canary in a coal mine, he also didn't want to get completely blind-sided by migranes and comrades who suddenly began to lose it. Hopefully the fire-lizard's mind would be too alien for even the spook to effect.
