Epic Fail.
So Monday was my English prelim and for once I wasn't too worried about it before hand even though the idea of revision sort of passsed me by :P
First was an hour of Close Reading which I was, and still am, quite confident about because reading has always been a safety blanket for me. It was all about nightmares and dreams which was okay because it had easy enough questions.
Then after that had ended we decided that since it was only ten minutes after the bell went that we would go up to our 2nd period class (Art for me) which was a great idea because I finally finished my 2 pages of development for the design unit :)
So after Art and break time the fun began. An hour and a half of Critical Essay writing. I thought I would be alright and the first one was on "The Changeling" by Robin Jenkins and the question fitted it perfectly so that was fine. The seond, however was on "My Last Duchess" a poem by Robert Browning and not only were all three possible questions horrible I forgot most of the quotes I needed to use so I was basically destined to do badly. I sat for fifteen minutes with my head in my hands having no idea what I was doing so then wrote 2 and a half pages in half an hour of nonsense!
Then during luch I had to go to an Eco-Shools meeting, I'm still wondering why I go to that!, then Geography where all Kathryn and I did was come up with a plan that we have to go to Rio to go to Sugar Loaf Mountain because we like the sound of it. We had Biology after that and I got told to be quiet a few times but it was okay.
When I got home I wasn't in the mood to do any homework so I started a couple of new Taggart chapters, one for Four Days Of Fun and a new one that is going to be posted on my birthday (if I manage to complete it)
Today has been uneventful and I'm working on the chapters, reading 30 Rock fics, listening to music and might start on some Maths homework for Friday. Not at school tomorrow because I might be getting the retainer thing out and it's in Edinburgh so... lots of tweets will be sent from phone!! :D
