Don't Get Me Wrong... (The Eleventh Hour semi-review)

Apr 04, 2010 20:30

So last night's new Doctor Who episode. I wasn't hopeful because David Tennant is one of the many God's I have and Matt Smith doesn't look good But I was converted. I still don't find Matt Smith attractive but I think he will be an okay change, Karen Gillan is alright but still will never fill the spot that Catherine Tate as Donna had.

The actual storyline confused me a little (time craks WTF?! I do not understand) and was it set in Scotland or England, I know they mentioned Amy being Scottish and then there was an English reference and I got all puzzled. Why must my brain focus on pairings normally instead of listening to what is going on.
Saying that however I am not sure 11/Amy are that great together - must be my disliking for Matt's looks. He actually looks older than David yet his voice somehow reminds me of David, HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!?!?!?

The Weeping Angels are coming back, NOOO please, and for 2 episode, they creep me out so much it's unbelievable! I have their first appearance on DVD and can't watch it without always looking over my shoulders if I see statues. I'm such a freak :')
Vampires are going to be a story :) And they're female ones. This could be a little hot.

I know I love me some Sarah Jane Smith but I actually don't want her on this season because it will just remind me of how cute Elisabeth Sladen and David Tennant looked when they were together in scenes. Yes I know Elisabeth is like  20+ years older than David but darn they were simply fabulous.

Think I must fill my own need and add a picture of one of my OTPs that only had about 4 scenes together. Yes I am cool, thanks for thinking that.

Ed and Adelaide you really are beautiful. And you made me cry. And you were played by Lindsay and Peter brilliantly. And now I watch everything I can that stars/includes these actors no matter how small the parts. And now I'm babbling. But God they were wonderful <3

Hope you've had fun seeing how a review of The Eleventh Hour can turn into nearly a whole post about David Tennant, Docrah and Edelaide.
