so tired.
but so happy to be in Indiana.
I've had so many thoughts running through my head today. It's hard to sort them out. I would have written them down, had I not been busy keeping a tally of dead deer on the side of the road. Is that just morbid, or what?
Yeahhhh.
It was so nice outside, today. As I got further south, things got warmer. Greener. Springier. Less ponds and lakes were frozen over. I got all happy and I started squirming in my seat. Sounds wrong, doesn't it?
We ate when we got to my uncle's. Mamaw and Papaw are there right now. Mom, Alexis and I came up to Aunt Linda's to see her for the night/stay here. I like it more here, but there at the same time. Not easy to explain.
It's home.
I don't know who said it, but...
home is where the heart is
My heart is here.
In Lawrence, Indiana.
But also there, in Mooresville.
But back in Troy, as well.
And Ambassador.
And on McDonald in Royal Oak.
Because those are the places where my heart belongs.
