1) Long story, but in a nutshell... a buncha humans decided to play around with genetics. We still don't really know why... been a lotta theories about it, but we don't really know for sure. Most of the records burned with the labs and the grotto...
2) For some reason, I'm seeing raccoon or dolphin. Not really based on anything, other than the first things to pop into my head. Not sure either fits quite right, though. Hmmm...
3) Honestly? I dunno. On one hand... I do get kinda scared of dying, sometimes. Maybe cuz I dunno where I'd end up. But, at the same time, I'd be scared. I'd know that I'd see all my friends grow old, and lose them... it'd be kinda lonely. I wonder how it'd change me, too, to live through it all...
4) That's easy... Sheol, the Ghost Panther. Way the story goes, he first appeared during the Revolution, and helped us to win, at the cost of his own life. But when we broke into the three Castes, he became angry and vengeful. He swore to steal the first born children of every Emejre that failed to follow the Path of the Just... the code we all live by. It's the usual "scare your kids" story, but what creeps me out is part of it. They say his sword doesn't kill you, but instead makes you into a mindless monster under his control. That, to me, is a scary thought.
5) How long would I get? *laughs* Seriously? I'd say... it's easier to hate than to love, but the rewards are far greater. And we're all brothers and sisters, under the skin. Maybe I could hit a few more cliches, if I had the time.
1) 2007. The project that created us started playing around with cloning and what not back in the 60s, and didn't share a lot of their info.
2) I dunno. You don't strike me as one, off hand. Maybe an ocelot?
3) Ouch... I'm sorry. I didn't realize...
4) It's... I'm not sure what you'd call it. A philosophical code, I guess? It real simply lays out what we should and should not do. If yer really bored, I can always see if I still remember all of it.

4) Okay... lemme see it I can remember.
The chief concern of the Just is the well being of the many; of least concern is himself
One who is Just shall harm no one, unless the lives of other are at stake
One who is Just shall help all those who require his aid, even his greatest foe
The values of the Just are Honor, Loyalty, Valor, Discipline, Faith and Humility
One who is Just shall judge not through words, but deeds
One who is Just shall give his life before violating a vow of honor
One who is Just must always allow for the possibility that he is wrong
...I'm not too good at following it most times, either.
