You know, I'm relatively new to lj, so I haven't had that much to complain about - besides not being able to upload as many icons as I want, anyway.

But now I do - because lj is censoring interests. The interests that have been victimized? Yaoi, smut, porn, girls, boys, and oh yeah, fanfictionWTF, LJ? I can see porn being censored, but fanfiction

This is all the damn SUP people's deal. (Bought LJ from Six Apart.) They're complete fucking Russian overlords assholes about not telling people anything. You also can't make basic accounts anymore (meaning no free accounts without ads cluttering your page).

But this? Is crossing a line. Just for this, I might wipe my interests clean. It's not like anyone looks at them. XD

They have issues with fanfiction, even though it's perfectly legal. Something to do with underage characters and other weird stuff. I may just move to a different service if more of this crap keeps happening....

Because LJ wants to keep up the image of being filled with happy, happy straight people. God.

Insane Journal looks tempting. I checked their interests list - "smut" and "fanfiction" high on the list, thankyouverymuch. Plus, 100 icons! 100! I would move just for that, but then I'd be all alone and I don't want to abandon my journal... *mopes*

Hmm. You're right! We wouldn't have to abandon lj... but I just checked out IJ to see if they have many SGA communities, and the search isn't working for some reason. Apparently they have a few "bugs" to work out... grr. *pouts*
