Oh, well. I'm not so anti-Keller anymore, so I liked her in the epi, and OMG Keller/Rodney is the cutest thing like EVA. *is reduced to teen!speak*

As for Carter... well.... :P She was horribly heroic and Mary-Sueish as usual, but even that couldn't put a damper on my joy. Much, anyway. *scowls* How sad is it even her death can't satisfy my wrath? (Oh, right, because it's sadly not permanent...)

And HA!! The epi was also, imo, a final, killer blow to the horror that is Ronon/Keller. So totally in favor of Ronon/Teyla. My shippy little heart is filled with malicious joy. \o/

Besides that, I liked the plot (most interesting and original season finale from SGA so far, I think - nice to have a change from "OMG!! THE WRAITH ARE COMING!!!") and the whole apocalypse theme was very, very cool. (It's CANON now!!!) Plus, Lorne was awesome. My love for him is like no other. \o/ *pets Lorne*

There was also Shep being the amazing hero as usual, lots of Sad!eyed!Rodney (which, wow, pulled on all sorts of mothering-I-want-to-hug-the-life-out-of-you instincts I didn't even know I had) and Todd! Who I am liking more and more, btw.

The only things I didn't like were (1) Micheal - at first I felt sorry for him, and now he's just getting on my nerves. I will be very, very happy when Teyla just socks the life out of him. (2) The ending. It was kind of lame and anti-climatic. (In the words of meridith_smith: "The ending was funny. Well, it wasn't supposed to be funny, but it was.") They should have ended it a little earlier, on a different cliffhanger.

And that's... pretty much it. It would have been perfect if Elizabeth was there, of course (no duh) but since we apparently can't have her, then I'll take what I can get. And uuuuggh, I can't believe I have to wait 4 months for the next season... *dies*

Hee, I love that you're so ferociously anti-Carter and I'm now ambivalent, but I'm still anti-Keller and you're shipping her and McKay! What is it with the redeeming powers of ship? I only liked Carter again because her chemistry with Cam makes me want to ship them even though the show's over and they have no future but OMG, they were so cute in the movie!

And um, spamming the wrong journal with my Carter/Mitchell glee. Where was I?

Argh, still so irritated that Keller hasn't even been there a season or developed a bond with people that's withstood a few seasons and yet she gets the canon romances with both Ronon and McKay. That's what makes me hate her. She might have all the chemistry in the world with McKay but considering that they RUINED Spanky by hooking her and Ronon up when he's supposed to love Teyla [not to mention the whole Athosian lover impregnating her thing *despairs* How did they screw this up so thoroughly?]I can't forgive her. I know, irrationally hating on the writers' pet when it's not her fault but argh. Anyway, you're certainly making me less rabid when it comes to her, lol.

Hmm, seems things haven't changed- TATB always wimp out with their endings. Which is fine and fun and all when it involves resurrecting the whole team, live and whole and healthy, but extra aggravating when they DIDN'T SAVE LIZZIE. If they wanted to be all dark and evoke jeopardy, why not kill someone in the finale? [I'm sure you'd be nominating Carter for that distinction, lol. She really is all right when she's on SG-1, honest]

Keep me updated on season 5! *hugs* Yay for your endurance skills, heh.
