1. I am obsessed with the color red, and always have been - never have I liked another color more or as much as red. In fact, it's gotten so bad I feel "loyal" to it - for example, when choosing my journal format, I had to choose a style with red (even though I liked another without red better) because I felt having a red-free one would be a "betrayal" to my OTC (one true color). Yeah. Go figure.
2. I hate forums. Especially fandom forums. It's so easy to misinterpret what somebody is trying to say, and get into a disagreement or step on toes or offend somebody; and I hate that. HATE. Because life's too short to be wasted on stuff like that. So, you'll never see me on Gateworld, that's all I'm saying. (Besides, have you seen those shippers and slashers? Talk about aggressive...)
3. I confess - I have about twenty unfinished fiction stories (most of them SGA) wasting away on my hard drive. Some of them are het, but most are actually gen. Every once in a while, I like to go back to the very first fic I ever wrote (unfinished, of course) and laugh at it. It wasn't really that bad, but god, it had a Mary-Sue. And SHE was bad. Thank the Ancients I never posted it...
4. Despite evidence to the contrary - I actually like the Ronon/Teyla pairing better than Shep/Weir. I only write more of the latter because I have no idea how to write Royla. Really. Love them together, but I'm too afraid that I'll warp their characters or something... Shep and Liz are so much easier to play around with. :)
5. I like rabbits. I know, I know, so many other cool animals, and I like rabbits? But, seriously. They're just so goddamn cute. How could I resist? So every once in a while I change my desktop background to a picture of a cute, fluffy bunny rabbit. (Don't laugh. I will set the vampire bunnies on you.)
6. I absolutely despise the games Solitarie, Freecell, Hearts, and Minesweep. I've played them way too many times (there's really only so much you can do as a laptop, after all) and whenever my human plays them, she looses. I'm sick and tired of them, I tell you! SICK AND TIRED...!
7. I've been told I have strange tastes in music. I prefer to call them - expansive. I love classical, rock, some kinds of pop, R&B, soul, light metal, and some country. Some of my favorite bands and artists are: Three Days Grace, Frou Frou, Linkin Park (or, as my dear human's sister likes to refer to them as, "The Screaming People"), Imogen Heap, Lifehouse, ALL music by J.S. Bach (because wow, he was a genius), Goo Goo Dolls, Eroica Trio (group of classical artists nobody seems to know about), Acceptance, Electric Light Orchestra, the Beatles (ah, look at all the lonely people...), Weird Al, and a bunch more. The only type I really can't stand is rap... a.k.a, retards attempting poetry. >_>
There. Whew. I would tag seven people, but ahem, I don't actually know anybody. It seems my aversion to forums extends somewhat to all sorts of internet-social life. Ah, well... maybe I'll go randomly friend a bunch of SGA people... ^_~
