Friday: work again and sushi at Shien of Osaka. I sometimes forget that as a general rule, sushi = yum. However, I need to remember that, at this place, the appetizers aren't so great as to necessitate getting a table rather than a sushi bar spot. I also managed to spill just about every sauce they gave me on myself this night. I have what we like to call "skillz".
Saturday: work! but then, shopping and dinner. Shopping was good. I picked up a good chunk of MAC for the first time in a long while. For the sake of
unclesully, I'll say that I did buy a fluidline in early January, but it'd been awhile since I'd dropped more than $50. I did this weekend. I'm glad I did though. I picked up a few shadesticks (corn, see me and crimsonaire) and a couple of eyeshadows, gorgeous gold (which I wore with corn to dinner and was blingin') and Sunday Best, from the Lingerie line. I'm wearing that today with Bare Canvas and Blitz and Glitz fluidline and it is AWESOME. Very vintage but modern. Much love.
minimed took me up to North Cnty Fair in the HA. I found a last season Coach bag I really wanted, but at $400 on sale, passed it up. Picked up the MAC, saw another coworker and then drove home. I tried on a zillion different outfits, finally settled on jeans and my favorite top from Banana Republic and drove down to Korea House. Andrey and I met up with
kriserific, David,
unclesully, Cecilia and
minimed. Much food was consumed and much trash talking and crassness ensued. I had a GREAT time. It was really great having everyone together and I hope every one else had a good time as well.
Sunday: Up and at 'em early to get to Six Flags Magic Mountain. I had a pretty good time there. I should have probably waited on it since my body was still recovering from the flu earlier in the week. I felt bad since I was sort of holding Andrey back a bit. We now have a season pass so he and I can head back any ol time. Whee!
re: the Super Bowl. Of course, since I was riding roller coasters and other craziness, I didn't get to see it. However, after living in Pittsburgh for quite a few years, I really wish I could have been there for that. From what it sounds like, it's pretty exciting times to be living in the 'burgh.
Modernbombshell.net is going to run out in March. I'm trying to decide whether or not to renew it. At this point, it just forwards to my mb lj account. However, the grand plan was that, eventually, it would forward to a modeling site. Hmmm... ponder ponder.
