Hi! It's always nice to meet new people! Well I should start by saying thank you, I'm happy you liked one of my icons and the photo.
I've been lucky enough to have been traveling as much as I did while growing up. And living in Europe means I have many countries that are close and easy to visit. I love new places and it was very educational.
Visiting Cuba was like visiting a country that lives a double life. The first one is where the tourist live, the Resorts. Very shiny, very new and all the comforts and pleasure one could want. Then you have the "Real Cuba" incredible nature, full of history and charm. But everything is rundown and old and needs fixing up. I would have loved to see the country in it's golden age when war, politics and poverty hadn't cast it's large shadow... (like many other countries)
Saw in your profile that you're from Brazil. I've never visited but I would love to do, one day, when I have the time and money (it's really expensive flying over the Atlantic and then one have to add the cost of hotels and other living expences...)
