Inu's Comin' Back.... WTF?
Inu's gonna finish up in anime? Wow. That's big news. How come THIS rumor hasn't been circulating for eons already?
Thanks for half my flist for notifying us that they plan to finish the series on anime (vol 36-56 - question? is that where they left off?)
I think I'm happy about this, though I must say that I expect epic proportion fanwars about canon going forward. We will have a whole series of manga, a separate one of anime - and then there's the fandom canon that gets all confused in the middle. Frankly, I'm not sure I can remember all that canon in the manga so when the anime twists it all up, it will be fun - like being alzheimerish - you get to see it all over again! Along that line I'm really interested to see how the Anime handles the battle of the brothers' swords and the ending - which I found pretty obtuse. The anime always tries to make things more concrete for the non manga patient crowd - esp us Westerners. I can just hear the manga fangirl screams when they try to make it make sense on TV for the broader audience.
