That can happen sometimes. It's why I draw all my happy memories. So I won't forget them.
Maybe that's what happened. Someone made them go away.

It's a shame, if you lost something important. But sometimes it's for the best.
Bad memories can make darkness in your heart, you don't want that.

You seem pretty sure. I guess, if you're really sure that it did.

If in fact, everyone who died forgot, then that doesn't mean that it didn't happen. It was simply an enchantment layered upon another. Death causes to one to forget. Hardly a surprise.

Death is supposed to cause everyone to be dead. It didn't happen that way either.

Nonsense! Death is hardly permanent. I've no thoughts at all that death here is equally as final.

Death is the end where I'm from. Most Nobodies just fade at the end. When people die, it's sad, but their hearts are free.

Is that not what it's like for you?

Well, when people die where I come from, they can be pretty easily brought back. Magic, the wish of a deity, a scroll, they might be a lich...

Is that not terribly invasive? What if someone is meant to be dead, and someone raises them, does it not cause the balance to shift?

Sometimes people are brought back for purposes less than good, yes. However, sometimes people are brought back because there was something in their life they needed to complete and did not. Like anything, it has purposes for both good and evil.
