I got the Nookcolor for Christmas and I am trying really very hard not to download every story ever, onto it.

I went a little crazy with this year's Big Bangs and saved PDFs of stories I normally wouldn't think twice about reading and now have over 150 nice long fics to occupy my time. And can I just say how much I hate LOVE that AO3 lets you get any format of any story archived there? Cause that's like, beyond awesome, and really not healthy for my time management skills or my massive bookmarking problem.

I bookmark everything I save for easy access later, so I can leave comments, search for timestamps, ect.

The downside to having all these works at my fingertips is that I haven't yet found an efficient way to organize everything on the Nook. I can't add tags or summary's and there is a design flaw in that the Nook won't let covers be displayed for PDF files. They know about the problem and hopefully it will be fixed with the overhaul they have planed for later this month.

Right now I'm using the folder system (RPF, Sam/Dean, College, High School) but it's just not as easy to browse as I would like. Hopefully once I play around for a bit I can find a method that works for me. If anyone has an eReader and wants to share how they sort their fic.s I would love to hear it.

I decided on the Nook over the Kindle because I just don't like the way Amazon is running things lately. That and the fact that it can give the iPad a run for it's money.

I'm very happy with my decision so far and hopefully in the future I can figure out how to make and upload PDFs so I may become a more productive member of fandom.
