sounds like the standard phishing emails that have been going around for years for ebay, paypal, amazon, banks, and a host of other places. you hovered over the link to see where it was sending you, or at least copied the link and pasted it into notepad before clicking on it, right?
Unfortauntely I get the retard of the day award, as just having completed a deal on ebay with someone, i thought, that prick, but I knew something was up when I noticed there was an IP instead of an address after clicking. Swept comp with virusscan, changed passwords, etc. Its a nice little subtle trick to say you added an email, since then it sounds like your account has been compromised. but the site itself seems inherently clean so, hopefully my damage isnt that bad, im going through all the stuff I care about though and changing passwords just in case.
too bad i changed all my passwords anyways. they can have fun getting frustrated trying to get info they cant use on me and be annoying at best if they do get into something. then they get caught and arrested and they can have fun there too, getting some OZ type fun.
