Altean Sky - As Blue as the Ocean
I feel as though I awoke from a dream. One of great length. One of great confusion.
My arrival here was finalized only recently. As a result, I have been here longer than I chose to present myself. It was not a decision based on an aloof nature, but rather one on proper representation. It would not have done well in the least had I not an idea of what I wished to accomplish and how I possibly could.
I am well aware of my brother's presence here and of Lady Sheeda's as well. I am hoping that they are enjoying their time here, as it seems lovely and peaceful. I would also imagine, however, that with me being here, my younger brother will be worried about our home. Leaving it in the caring hands of the knights and of Maric, I would like to believe that Altea will fare well in our periods of absence. My brother may be grooming himself for his future prospects as the Lord of Altea, and I am certain that Lady Sheeda would be doing the same for her own kingdom. I cannot say I am falling into their footsteps as well.
I was touched to receive my invitation and greatly appreciative. It is true, Marth and I received great tutelage in our progressing adolescence. It has never impressed me more than to see the growth of a child into a youth, and finally into that of adulthood. Perhaps I am wishing simply to grow wise. I will not be leading my home, but with my heart, I would like to protect it, to care for its people, and to bring prosperity in my own small and perhaps trivial way. I believe with wisdom and my aging, that this will be possible.
And I believe the classes I have enlisted in will allow me to do this.
