Speaking of holidays, or ways of spending quality times: Is my memory helping me and you are living in Austin? If so, you might want to check out a concert. One of my favorite Romanian bands, is playing in Austin! o.O on the 12th and 16th of March (next week!!) Suie Paparude Live SXSW, Austin, Texas (that's 2 concerts in fact, lololol) Suie Paparude on March 12th (bottom of page, at 01.00AM)
Their latest sound is something like this: (I LOVE this one! ) or like this: (not really, but it gets me moving :D)
These guys are legendary! There are 2 dudes named Michael (actually Micky & Dobrica) who have been around making music since... 1994, I think, plus one MC. But they keep changing the MC - so their style variates a a little. Reinventing themselves in way, but keeping the roots. It would be some kind of massive COOL if you could dance to my favourite band <3
Actually I'm not living in Austin. I mentioned once that I wanted to move out there, but I'll work my way slowly that way. For the time being, I still visit it every few months. SXSW is one of the events I never miss! So I'll definitely hit it up this year too. I don't know many of the bands going except on Japan Nite, but I think I'll try to go on one of the days this band is playing because I'm feeling their sound :ooo
That second video is awesome. If I do get to see them, I'm going to dance to your favorite band for you bb tahaha Get over here and dance with me o_____o This will be a good introduction into Romanian music I think heh heh
