Drink up!
So yesterday I drove 70 miles each way to get some of the wonderful beverage, WLD Original Hard Blue. Chris (my friend, not my boyfriend) and I went to Scotland in the summer of 2003 and had this very yummy drink. We have been searching long and hard to find it here in the US (she found it in Delaware, but the place stopped carrying it). I recently came to find out that the drink, called WKD Blue in Scotland, is called WLD Blue in the US. WKD(pronounced Wicked) is already trademarked by Pete and his ale. Anyway, I wanted to have this blue wonder for Chris's graduation this weekend. So I drove out to the only place in this general area of the country that has the drink (the upside of the long journey was that I got gas for $2.87 a gallon). I got 2 cases. Good stuff.
Chris and I just got out of our lab meeting a few minutes ago. Chris had a rough night last night, so we decided that the WLD Blue need not wait for her graduation party on Sunday. 9:49 am... drink up! :)
