Good news, scams and crappyness
I went to the hospital this morning to see my surgeon for what I was hoping was the final check up. And it was! YAAAAAA! The surgeon has said, whilst I will always have a slight chance of reoccurrance, he doesn't think it's going to happen. Everything looks very neat apparantly (I haven't looked yet) and clean.
It's a case of Paper Much Too. uuuurgghhhhh
On the way out of the hospital, I got in the car and this bloke pulled up behind me waiting to pull into my space. I had just taken the handbreak off and was checking round, when I saw him drop some rubbish out of the car window onto the floor. So I put back on the hand break and tuned off the engine, and floded my arms.
He opened the car door, and I thought "here we go, he's going to come and shout and swear at me", but instrad he got out, picked up the rubbish, and smiled sheepishly at me. Oh my god, I have just teachered a 40 year old man. Help!
Kris and I have been being called by a phone number 08706000913, which calles during the day and leaves blank 4 second answerphone messages. When we called the number, we got "this number does not accept incoming calls" .I was in today when it rang, and a woman with a south east accent was demanding to speak to Kris, got his surname wrong, and claiming that they were from his bank.
Our banks always say who is calling, and use our answer phones if it is not answered. Added to that there is a discussion about this happening to other people on a couple of forums. I seem to be the only one that has been spoken to though, everyone else just gets blank messages. I think we have a scam here me dears, So it they try you, don't give em the time of day.
