Colds, Late April Fools and Comics

Easter Monday; back to school on my last week of my first year of college, and boy has it been an adventure. I learned a lot about animation and I've improved in my drawing quite a bit. Can't wait to see what I learn next year!

Well, my head cold has turned into a chest cold (oh joy!) and I keep waking myself up with coughing.

This morning I gave myself (I guess you could call it) a late April Fool's joke. I thought that I had a 8:00 class Monday morning. No problem. I've done it before, but I would have to take the bus since mom wasn't going into work on account of her minor surgery last week. Again, no problem. I've done that before too. What I haven't done before is woken up at 7:30am when my bus leaves at 7:42AM. I don't think I've jumped out of bed that quickly before! I grabbed all my stuff (layouts, letters, pencil case, papers and put them in my bag) and put it at the front door while I went to search for my Walkman. I was putting on my shoes at 7:37AM when I realized... Life drawing class didn't start until 9:00AM.

Boy, did I feel stupid!

But I did something that I haven't done in a long time. I actually had a decent breakfast! Toast with peanut butter and strawberry jam. (Yum!) I also sat down in front of the TV and watched an old episode of Who's Line Is It Anyways? with Clive Anderson as the host (Drew Carry sucks. He thinks he's funny when he's not and he's horrible at improv!).

My friend got me the final Blink #4 book from Marvel comics today. The story sucks rocks, but the art in it is really good. Now I've got all four books. *g* I'm going to ask him to get my the last Generation X book (#75) for me because they're canceling the series (baka Marvel!) so I can have it for keep sake plus it sounds like a good book.

That's it... ;)
