Easter Beef and Sci-fi computer labs
Well, paint me disgusted.
I just got back from doing some errands (I was getting essentials for mailing out my support letters [IE. envelopes, stamps], and Advil Sinus and Cold [the miracle drug]) and I had to wait in long line ups behind people who were buying chocolate bunnies, chocolate eggs, toys, bottles of bubble liquid and all the usual "Easter impedimenta" (Easter "bits and pieces").
It almost made me sick.
This is what the death of Jesus Christ has come to? Little chocolate bunnies or stuffed animals? It's ridiculous! I said to the cashier that I wouldn't be surprised it I was the only person not buying anything chocolate today and, to my surprise, she said that there were a few.
I get mad like this at Christmas too. I won't get into it now (I even wrote an essay about it), but it just irks me so bad.
Also, it took me an hour and a half to find just three decent Christian (non-animated) gifs. JUST THREE! Now that's kinda depressing. I had to sort through tonnes and tonnes of little animated bunnies jumping, baby chicks hatching and flashing "Happy Easter" signs surrounded by eggs. Ugh!!!
Rant Over!
I'm just about done my background for layout class and it looks very cool and sci-fi. Wiring and tubing everywhere, not to mention weird shaped panels everywhere.
I plan to watch Macross Plus tonight as well as Titan A.E. and MST3K: The Movie while I finish up and do the simple exterior of where my computer background is suppose to belong to. Whoo!
