And Life Goes On
One more day of semi-freedom. Freedom at least from being buried in assignments anyway.
Some really cool news just happened recently. While in Dofus, I periodically post links to my illustrations for school in the guild website, and encourage people to view them. One of my guild members really liked them and turns out he's a writer. He's asked me, if he were to write a children's story book, would I illustrate it for him?
First Thought: Yes. Absolutely!
Second Thought: Would some sort of tangible payment be involved?
Either way, if the book does/does not get published, maybe I could acquire a few copies of the book and show people "See look! I'm published (sorta). This is what I did. Hire me!" :D Or something to that effect. I hope it goes well. He said he's started the first draft and will have a rough copy for me to read in a month or so, just to give me an idea of what to do, and get some sketches done at any rate.
I hope this turns out, cause that would be so awesome! :D!
