Murphy's law at work again.

Have you ever went to a church wedding and found no one there? It happened to us today. Lesson learnt. Always check the wedding invitation and bring it along!

No wonder I had a bad feeling when I picked up Leonard at his place. Asked if he brought the wedding card, and he went into a "rage" saying it's not necessary and blah blah... Ok. Shall not ask further.

And when we rushed over to the church, there's nobody! We tried looking around for clues, but to no avail. Finally found the office. A lady tried to help us, but apparently there's only a wedding in the morning and they're not the ones we're looking for. She suggested other churches and tried calling them to find out. Unfortunately, the names of the couples do not match others.

Yes, I know most people would simply say "call your friend". It's really unfortunate. We don't have the numbers at all. We met this couple at the MPC and hence didn't record their numbers nor the rest of the couple's into our phones. So, without any invitations or contacts, we were stranded.

I've tried calling the dinner venue and finally realised we've got the wrong date. It was supposed to be last week!

All I can do is to blame Leonard who insisted he's correct *all the way from the church to home* and refused to admit his mistake. I know the card's been sent early, but he RSVPed the couple. Moreover, I've asked him to check the date 2 weeks ago as I have some appointments scheduled for today. Had to change my appointments since he told me they clashed with the wedding. Sigh...
