Okay.
In May, I will be taking twelve days off. I intend to go on a holiday. It will be my first trip, and likely my last, because I expect to be working harder than ever when I return.
Now:
1)I want to go to China, but I WILL NOT sit China Airlines, or ANY China airline, for that matter. EVERY tour package goes on China Airlines or China Southern or the like. Next, I cannot plan a China tour on my own, because I will end up being fleeced. I'm naive.
Scratch China out.
2) I'd like to go to Europe... except it'd have to be package tours again, and I don't want to see cuckoo clocks being made in Germany, and to do Zurich and Lucerne in ONE day is a little... exhausting. All the tour packages here seem to offer cuckoo clock treats. =_=
Scratch Europe out.
3) Australia and New Zealand are out because it's cold over there-- I want a nice, warm place.
Scratch 'em both out.
4) Japan. The airline is good... just... I really, really don't trust a tour that promises me a samurai lunch. o_O Though apparently I will visit a... wasabi plantation. ...
...ideas, anyone?
