Wow, it has been eons since I posted anything on LJ. Some life I've had lately, staying up late nights in the sweatshop sewing room completing my senior collection. I'm totally exhausted, but let's cut to the chase.
Anyways, Jury Show. I would consider it the most important event in a fashion senior's calendar because it will determine if you get into the fashion show. Each senior makes 6 "looks" (a look can be a dress or a 3 piece suit, thus a look does not necessary mean one garment). 4 out of my 6 "looks" are going to the jury panel next Saturday.
These are my babies of 8 torturous and expensive months. Starting from the left: 1 (white coat), 2 (beaded vest with pleated dress), 5 (pleated tunic with dress) and 6 (cropped jacket with blouse and beaded pants) are going to the Jury Show! My favourite piece is the cropped jacket on the far right.
Sadly, the middle two are cut, the green dress I believe due to complications in edits and the jumpsuit because they hate on it. But 4 out of 6 is still pretty outstanding considering it is a "semi-final" cut.
A big thank you to my lovely models. The ladies from the left: Lindsay, Christine, Jaylene, Ashley, Kat and Amanda.
