"You just don't want to break the space-time continuum, admit it," Terry said. He'd only been on the phone for a couple minutes while old man Wayne explained that he was needed back in Gotham this weekend, but he'd already made a couple snap judgements about how it was playing out. He was still packing up to go, but he couldn't help but rag on Bruce a little at the same time. He could multitask.
"I have no idea what you're talking about," Bruce said on the other end of the line.
"Come on, a big party where alumni are invited to celebrate the moon landing? Little you is gonna be there," Terry said. "You can't tell me you don't have times we might cross paths in Fandom marked down on a calendar or something."
"I've done enough time traveling to know that wouldn't break anything," Bruce countered. "Anyway, it's Kent asking for your help, not me. And I promise he's never seen any of my calendars."
"Fine. Fair point," Terry said. "I have a portal set up for later this morning. I'll see you when I get in."
"Try not do disrupt causality in the meantime," Bruce prodded before hanging up.
Well, the bad thing was that Terry was missing the moon party and meeting the younger Bruce. The good thing was that he was going to get to be Batman in a big city for a few days and work with Superman. All in all, he probably came out a little on top here. All he had to do was finish packing some clothes, swing by the cave for the suit on his way out, and he'd be set.
[OOC: Open door, open post. Terry is taking off ahead of the BDE.]
