At last, the second lesson is here! :))) Thanx! I'm not sure about grammar, but I'll try. I consider myself as punctual person so coming somewhere early doors is about me. I think my Mom is freemale, and this comes to be common in modern world. That's sick. Now let me tell you two stories about my job.I used to work at school a few years ago, and I was wondering about our head teacher: he was younger than me (I was 23) and (it was the most funny) he was a dentist! What was going on? The dentist as head teacher? Why? How? The answer was very simple - he was a toy boy. Pants! I didn't get what exactly "gobsmacked" means :(( Can I say here that I was totally gobsmacked when I found out? The second story is about my 20-years-old colleage who seems to think that I am too old to speak English :))))))))))) She was like "You could give it to ME to translate. I can speak English." Sounded like "No one else here can speak English at all, you all are too old guys" So funny! The day before yeterday there was many people standing in a queue to use hole-in-the-wall and get their salary.
>Can I say here that I was totally gobsmacked when I found out? Yes, you can. We use "gobsmacked" when we are absolutely speechless, surprised or shocked. >I'm not sure about grammar, but I'll try. Your grammar is fantastic! Only sometimes you forget to use articles, for instance: as A punctual person or as A head teacher. Thank you Lana! :-)
