can I be nosey?
my friday night as manager at the drive-in.......
we started out good.
we ran out of burgers but Larry gave us some from the Waterslide so that was ok.
we weren't as busy as everyone thought so we weren't rushed to do anything.
the dough for fried dough was shitty but Larry was the hero again and came over and made some cause he rocks at making dough.
the first movies were started and it was going good.
Natalia was her usual lazy self and it was hard to get her to clean but she did a little bit.
around the middle of the first movies, the popcorn machine breaks. dunzo for the night.
good thing we hade enough made for the rest of the night.
so that was done so Sara and I watched the fireworks and when I went inside, Henry, Doug and Sam were mopping up a huge puddle....the soda machine is broken, but for some reason the soda still tasted fine...it just leaked everywhere.
so I guess we took care of that.
heres the fun part...
not that long after the soda machine thing I get called into the snack bar and Natalia told me that Doug and Henry were in the mens room dealing with some drunk chick puking everywhere....EVERYWHERE.
I go over there and she is one wasted girl.
they told me that she needed to go somewhere to get help so I called 911 and had fire trucks, cops and an ambulance come and get her.
turns out she was 16 years old, her and friends had tried sneaking into the drive-in but Larry busted them and they ended up paying, I believe her and her friend drank a bottle of vodka within an hour and they also had an open container in thier car. (don't worry, the driver was sober)
they're fucked.
after they took her and all the comotion died down, we started cleaning and getting ready to close.
Doug left without telling me and left Henry without a ride home.
Nicole was out in ticket box with like three guys hanging around and by the time I noticed this, I didn't have anyone to go out and cover for her.
Greg came back around 11:45 and then I left.
and I get to do it all over again tonight!
after work I hung out with Henry and Mat for a little while...we went through the car wash, it was fun.
now I'm gonna go get ready for another fun night at the drive-in.
