I was on a friend's facebook the other day, and I noticed that she posted a link to a webMD article about fighting fatigue. Well normally I don't really like webMD because it offers too broad of solutions to illnesses or health concerns. But I decided to give the site one more chance. And I am glad I did, because when I read that article, I found a series of links to a blog of women's health, nutrition and fitness expert Pamela Peeke, called Everyday Fitness. One entry in particular caught my attention: it focused on the topic of using pieces of clothing to measure how you are doing in terms of your shape and weight loss, also called the "clothes-o-meter". This sounded really helpful to me because I was having the same problem as the webMD user who was quoted at the beginning of the entry. She stated, "I’ve been eating so well and working out hard, but the scale hasn’t budged. Funny thing is that my clothes are looser. Am I doing something wrong?” For me, my body looks as though I have slimmed down in certain areas, but the scale was stuck at 148 pounds for the longest time. Although yesterday the scale told me I finally lost 3 pounds, I am still going to give this clothes-o-meter a try :D And on another note, I am going to continue to upload a different song every time I sign onto this blog, even if don't update. Music is great for self-expression, plus it is fun to see which ones I can come up with or that are already on my mind, and any comments on those are welcome :)

oh, and here is the page, for anyone who may be interested:
