Now off to the world of dreams,
where I hope to dream a dream,
where life is wonderful and true,
and loves truth always gleams.

Lust is a part of this world,
along with nakedness and fun,
and if I fail to dream this dream,
then I will find it in the morning come.

For have you been to Foggy Basement,
a world within this living day,
a place where seldom souls could go
to whisk their anguish away.

Like a dream it does contain,
all to which I've said
and here when the morning comes
your in someone else's bed.

And here the drinks aren't stale
and the coffees mighty good,
and in the arms of friends and faces,
one feels all the love they could.

The entertainment is mighty fine,
for the it comes and goes,
though who really entertains,
no one really knows.

And the TV’s always on but
but we converse in daily thought,
this is a place I love to go
for it is a true wonder brought.

So have you been to Foggy Basement,
where all is as all can be,
for it is in this wondrous world,
where true dreams do find me.

So next time you feel down,
and life won't go your way,
come and visit Foggy Basement,
