I just realized this while commenting on Puck's post: my main couple is Peter and Jane.
Peter. Like Peter Pan.
And Jane. Like Wendy's daughter.
o.o Can you say coincidence?
(And, yay, they're being all cute and teasing each other and singing to each other because they're having an impromptu karaoke party! This is a flashback, by the way.)
My favorite two sentences:
“Let’s eat!” Evie said, poking her head out from the kitchen. She had managed to get some dishes out of the cupboard and transfer the food, thankfully without dropping any of them or killing Glasgow, who was still out and about and was currently on the counter, eyeing the meatballs on the bowl of spaghetti with great interest.
PS- Did anyone catch my not-so-subtle character allusion to The Mummy?
