Chapter 1
Demi loved these lazy mornings. Mornings where there was no rushing, no frantically looking for misplaced cell phones, and mornings were Demi some how managed to squeeze in a day off from her frantic schedule. Being an actress wasn’t always easy. It didn’t give her the most flexible schedule, and most of her time and day is spent either on her set or on stage during rehearsals. It didn’t leave her much time for her and Selena, and that was one of the drastic downside of dating a fellow actress and working in the entertainment business.
So whenever she did get the privilege of having the week off, she took full advantage of that. But today wasn’t just any average day off, she wanted today to be special. Today she would be starting a new chapter in her life, she would be giving her heart and soul to the woman she loved.
Today, she would be proposing to Selena Gomez.
As she looked into the side mirror of her yellow Camero, she was nervously trying to decide what hair style to go with.
“What do you think bee? Pony tail or, let it all hang lose?” she asked, running her hands through her hair. Her response was a few beeps coming from the car horn.
She scoffed slightly as she placed her hands on her hips, eying the yellow auto bot, still in his vehicle form.
“Well of course it matters. Today could make or break me. You’d think that my alien guardian would be a little more understanding.”
Bumblebee responded by tuning his radio station to another frequency. “It’s all good.” Came a random voice from the care’s radio followed by the chorus from the famous Beatles song. “Love is all you need.”
That made Demi smile. “You’re sweet Bee.” As she looked down at her watch, she realized that it was almost time.
“Alright, here goes nothing. I’m ready.”
On cue, the Camero opened it’s side doors to the nervous young lady. As Demi stepped into the driver’s side of the car, she thought about her 'perfect' plan. If everything goes according to her plan, there's a good chance that her life could change here and now.
As the typical fears of rejection went through her mind, she though about all that she and Selena had been through over the past year. Discovering an alien race together, taking in their part to save the world, they weren't like any other couple. That was for sure.
'I wonder how long I'll be able to ride that horse.' she thought to her self.
Ready or not, it was time to make her move.

He looked down at his fallen enemy. A random Decepticon, that was in the wrong place, at the wrong time, had made the ill fated move to challenge the leader one of the Autobot’s more formidable leader. Overtaken with zealousness, this mere Decepticon thought that he could take on a seasoned soldier and leader like Optimus Prime.
He was dead wrong.
If there was one thing Prime admired about the Decepticons, it was that no matter what you did to them, you could never feel about it. To him, the Decepticons were nothing more that soulless creatures fighting for supremacy. They cared little for the lives inhabiting this planet, so he saw no reason why he should show compassion to them.
Using whatever power he had left in his limbless robotic body, the Decepticon tried to crawl away from his enemy.
“Decepticon punk!” The Autobots leader snarled, kicking the robotic organism in his metallic chest. A feeling of self satisfaction came over him as he heard his enemy cry out in pain.
“Where do you think you’re going?” He taunted, slamming his large robotic foot on the chest of his fallen foe, intimidating him by aiming his large arm cannon directly between the Decepticon’s face.
“What are the decepticons still doing here?” Prime asked, keeping his weapon steadied on his target.
“I’m not afraid of you prime…in the end, you’re weak you are all weak.” the opposing cybertronian managed to wheeze out, trying to keep his consciousness up.
Optimus prime knew that Decepticon’s were very adamant about keeping their secretes. They had their loyalty to their side, and that was the one thing that can be admired by them. None the less, he had ways of making them talk. Slowly he applied pressure to his enemy’s chest, causing him to let out an ear piercing shriek.
“I repeat.” He emphasized with more force applying pressure to his fallen foe. “What are the Decepticons still doing here?
A few weak cackles came from the fallen robot’s mouth, turning his gaze towards the end of Prime’s weapon, he just grinned sadistically.
“Your end is near…the human race you protect will cease to exist…”Sensing that his end was inevitable he delivered one more message to the Autobots leader.
“The Fallen shall rise again…” looking down the end of the large cannon, he could see the electric mass forming inside of the barrel.
“Not this day.” Optimus replied charging his weapon.
Knowing the satisfaction that he sacrificed his life for a greater cause, the decepticon closed his eyes as he waited for the shot that would ultimate consume his life.
Prime’s short victory meant very little to him. Knowing the information that he just received, he couldn’t help the deep seated feeling of dread that was forming inside of him. If what he heard was true, the human race wasn’t the only one in danger.
His mind was so wrapped with this news that he barely heard the foot steps of his comrade and oldest friend approaching him.
“Optimus, this area has been secured.”
“Thank you Iornhide.” The Autobot leader replied turning his attention back to his fellow soldier, nodding his head in affirmation.
“We’ve done all we can here. We should leave.” Giving the command for his soldiers to regroup he could hear the ground rumble with the sound of his fellow allies coming to formation. They did all they could do for now. Prime took solace in the fact that he had soldiers that would fight for the right cause.
He was here to stay and if the Decepticons wanted a fight, he would give them one. Looking back to his army, inwardly he smiled with pride as he commanded; “Autobots Roll out !”

This was the part of Theodore's job that he truly hated. Meeting with military personal and these...freaks were something that he could easily do with out. Yet, as the National security Adviser for an entire nation, it was his job to investigate any sort of suspicious activity. And ever since the event the media has dubbed “The Invasion”, his job had become more scrutinized.
Which meant more pressure on him, his development team, and more meetings with military force representatives. Or as he would like to call them “Grunts”
As he stepped off the helicopter, he was greeted by a young man ten years his junior. Dressed in his military garb he approached him, already standing at attention.
“Director Galloway, what an honor to have you on board.”
Theodore could sense the false modesty and insincerity laced in the Major's voice. He wasn't in any mood for his military style abuse.
“Spare me your stock sincerity Major Lenox, where is he?”
The young Major just arched his brow and shrugged his shoulders. Acting like he was oblivious to what the director was talking about.
“I don't have the faintest clue about what you are talking about. I'd love to show you around but you have to be on the classified access list.”
The irked director merely shoved a piece of paper in the major's chest, proving his clearance on this base.
“I am now, Presidential order Major. And I have a message for your classified space buddies.”
He could see the smugness and arrogance washing off the young soldier's face as he read the words, coming straight from the president himself.
Pointing to one of his fellow soldiers, the major merely nodded his head, giving him the command.
“You know, you guys really made a mess out there.” He grumbled as she walked passed the disappointed major.
Taking the tour of the autobots hanger, he had to admit that, it was pretty impressive how they ran their operation. From the separate area for the autobots, to their specific section where they communicate with the Joint chief of Staff...or JCS for short, they ran a pretty tight shift.
“Secure link to JCS is up Major.”
As the Major turned towards the large monitor in front of him. He saw the numerous members of the CS seated in front of him. An elderly gentlemen dressed in a military suit, decorated with various medals came into the view of the monitor.
Already on his feet, the Major saluted the general.
“At ease Major.” came the General's voice.
“General. We have Intel that I believe warrants an immediate debrief. Now with your permission, I can't let you see him, but I would like you to hear from the leader of the Autobots.”
“Proceed Major.”
Every time the director witnessed Optimus Prime's transformation, he was still in awe. In awe that something like this can blend so easily into the realms of earth. More so, he was in awe that there were these life forms outside of the universe.
Witnessing the large tanker truck coming apart only to reform as a giant standing...being, only one thought occupied her head. 'If god made us in his image, who the hell made prime?'
“General...” Prime's bass filled voice began to fill the large hanger. “General Our alliance has countermanded six Decepticon incursions this year, each on a different continent. They're clearly searching around the world for something. But last night's encounter came with a warning.”
As the play back filled the speakers of the hanger base, Theodore's initial fears began to show through.
“The Fallen shall rise again.”
“The Fallen...meaning what?” The General asked in a concerned manner. He still couldn't help his peaked curiosity.
“Origin unknown, The only recorded history of our race was contained within the All Spark, and lost with it's destruction.”
“Uhm Excuse me.” came the abrupt and rude interruption from the now peaked National Security Advisor. His response caught the attention of the Autobots leader.
“With this so called All spark now destroyed, why hasn't the enemy left the planet like you thought they would?”
He questioned in a rather accusing manner. Major Lenox just pinched his nose with a slight rolling of his eyes as he promptly invited himself into their conversation.
“Director Galloway, our National Security Advisory. The President just appointed him liaison.”
Hearing the obvious hint of annoyance in the Major's voice, the General just smirked and shook his head.
“Well I guess I didn't get that memo.”
He could hear the older man's footsteps as she shuffled through the group of soldiers that were in his way.
“Forgive the interruption general. But after all that's occurred, the president is hard pressed to say the job is getting done. Now under the classified Alien/Autobot cooperation Act...” he began, now turning his full attention to the large robotic alien standing in front of him. “...you agreed to share your Intel with us, but not your advancements in weaponry.”
Optimus Prime could sense the animosity and accusation in the older man's voice. And if he had been a fellow cybertronian, he would be tempted to knock him off his high pedestal with a rather...unprofessional approach. But none the less, his virtues and morals wouldn't allow him to act so harshly. Even to someone who was as rude as he was being.
Maintaining his code of conduct he simply rebuked. “We witnessed your human capacity for war. It would absolutely bring more harm than good.”
As he placed his hands on his hips, Theodore merely scoffed at the Autobot's ridiculous assessment.
“Excuse me Mr. Prime but...who are you to decide what's best for us?” he retorted. Only to be greeted by Major Lenox's interruption
“With all due respect, we've been fighting side by side in the field for two years.” he said getting right up in the elder's personal space. “We've shed blood, sweat and precious metal together.”
“Uhm excuse me soldier.” he responded, not backing down from his stance. “You're paid to shoot, not talk.”
He wanted to respond with a meaningless threat like “Don't tempt me.” but figured that the possible de-ranking or discharge would not be worth it.
“And the...Newest members of your team?” he pointed to the various new motorcycles that now occupied the hanger. “I understand they arrived here after you sent a message into space, an open invitation if you will to come to Earth, vetted by no one at the White House...”
“Let me stop you right here Mr. Galloway. It was Vetted right here.” Interrupted the general. “And in my experience, the judgment of both Major Lenox and his team has always been above reproach.”
“Well be that as it may...General.” He stepped into the frame of the camera, looking directly into the lens.
“When our National Security is at stake, no one is above reproach. Now what do we know so far? We know that the enemy leader, classified NBE one, AKA Megatron, is rusting at peace at the bottom of the arctic ocean. Surrounded by full time submarine surveillance and SOUS detection nets.”
He continued his diatribe while pacing back and forth, now pointing his finger at the Major.
“We also know that the only remaining piece of your alien “All Spark” is locked in an electromagnetic vault. Here on one of the most secure naval bases in the world. And since no one can seem to tell me what the enemy is now after, there's only one clear conclusion!”
he grew louder as he stepped towards the towering Autobot, now pointing her finger directly at Optimus.
“You, The Autobots. They're here to hunt you! And it sounds to me like something's coming.”
Numerous personals around the Director could feel their moral and overall energy drain at Director Galloway's preachy attitude. Even the remaining Autobots, still in their transformed vehicle state was starting to get annoyed at the human's constant preachings.
“So let me ask, if we ultimately conclude that our national security is best served by denying you further asylum on our planet, will you leave?...Peacefully?”
Prime was foremost a protector for this planet. He sworn to himself and to his fellow Autobots that this planet must not share the same fate as Cybertron. And as personally offended he was at this man's accusations, he did have to consider the safety of this planet.
“Freedom is your given rights. If you request that, we will honor it.”
The satisfied director nodded his head in affirmation. Feeling almost victorious with his little...speech. But before she could leave, he was stopped with another one of Prime's warnings.
“But before your president decides, ask him this. What if we leave...and you're wrong?”

She couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting. Beautiful weather, a slight breeze in the air, along with a husky orange sun that started its western decent, the woman she loved was nestled in her arms as their bodies were laying on the flannel blanket, a picnic basket of half eaten sandwiches were placed between them, this truly was a wonderful plan.
At least she hoped it would be. So far everything seemed to work out in her favor. Spending the entire day with Selena at the Renaissance fair was her first plan. Then to cap it off with a romantic picnic seemed to be the icing on the cake for her. Now it was time for her to make her move.
“God…we couldn’t ask for a more perfect day.” Selena blissfully whispered into Demi’s ear, as she snuggled closer to her lover, resting her head on her shoulders. She could feel Demi’s uncomfortable shift forming underneath her still form.
Something wasn’t right. “Demi? Baby what’s wrong?” Selena asked, arching her brow. She could see some form of uncertainty forming deep within Demi’s brown hues.
Demi just flashed a forced, nervous smile towards Selena’s direction. Truth be told, she was a lot more nervous than she thought she would be. As well as her plan was going, she didn’t take into account that she would be a nervous wreck. After all she was only popping the most important question of her life.
“Selena I…well…you see…Uhm…there’s well something…” Demi managed to speak out. Only greeted by a quizzical look from Selena’s facial features.
“Hell this isn’t working…Bee?” Demi called out. She was greeted by the sound of her Camero taking shape of his original yellow cybertronian form. The yellow Autobot knelled to his friend and companion. Ready to do his part.
“Little help buddy?” came Demi’s request. The large robotic life form nodded his head as his visor shifted over his eye sight. Lifting his arm cannon in the air, he fired off a few rounds into the sky.
The loud blast from his cannon startled Selena a bit as she grasped onto Demi’s shoulder a little tighter. She wasn’t use to the fact that an alien life form was some how part of their lives.
However her initial startle slowly faded away as she saw the beautiful display of fireworks above her. She looked in awe at the bright and beautiful colors that filled the now night time sky. As soon as the last few fireworks went off, a hidden message came within those bight miniature blasts.
“Selena, will you do me the honor of giving me your hand in holy ma...”
Selena cocked her head to the side in confusion at the last statement.
“Holy…what?” She asked, turning her head back towards Demi.
“Bee…what happened?” Demi asked, turning her head towards her yellow guardian, who just looked down in an ashamed manner.
“Well that didn’t go as well as I thought it would. Alright screw it…” Demi just propped herself up as she brought out the small velvet box in her pocket.
As soon as Selena saw the miniature ring case, she knew exactly what Demi was trying to say. She couldn’t help feel the flow emotions overtaking. As she brought her hands up to her mouth, she made no attempt to stop the flow of tears that were now spilling over her face.
“Selena, in my entire life, you were the only person that has truly seen me. The real me. You’ve excepted me for who I am, my flaws, my weaknesses, everything that I am, and am not.”
Demi could feel her own tears forming in her eyes. Trying to suppress the sob that was rising from her throat, she placed her hand over Selena’s. Grasping it gently.
“I think you know what I’m trying to say here Sel…so. What do you say? You want to give it a go?”
Selena let out a tear filled giggle at Demi’s unique proposing style. She placed her hand underneath Demi’s cheek as she gently brushed a tear that fell from the shorter woman’s eyes.
“Demi…you are just so incredibly…corny.”
Demi just shrugged her shoulders adding an innocent smirk as a sniffle escaped her lips.
“And the answer is yes…I will.”
That was the answer that Demi wanted to hear. She made no attempt to suppress the emotional sob that escaped her mouth as her lips made contact with Selena’s.
As the two lovers now embraced and kissed each other, Demi retrieved the ring from the velvet box and gently slipped it onto Selena’s ring finger.
‘So this is what true happiness feels like.’ Demi thought to herself, as she enveloped Selena in another loving embrace. As she felt a new batch of nears streaming down her cheek she thought about how she was going to now spend the rest of her life with her best friend, her soul mate.
As she looked up to Bumble bee, a wide grin spread across her lips.
“Thank you.” She mouthed to her guardian, who managed to give her a very earthly thumbs up.
Both parties oblivious to the red visor that was spying on them from afar. Clenching it’s Grey robotic fist in anger, it swore vengeance to the human that helped end the life of it’s leader.
“Enjoy your moment of happiness…human. It won’t last long.”
