Title: For a Good Time, Call...
Rating: PG
Prompt: #55 scented invitation
Length: 100 words
Genre: romance
Time: post seventh year
Pairing: Harry Potter/Romilda Vane
Every morning Harry Potter came down the stairs of Grimmauld Place and was greeted by a large stack of the day's owl posts. Only a fraction were auror business; the bulk was entreaties to endorse various products, requests for interviews, and, of course, fanmail.

This morning, however, even before coming downstairs, he smelled a heady combination of violets, roses, musk and--good heavens--a distinct whiff of leather.

An elegant purple scroll was the obvious source. Harry opened it cautiously.

An invitation from Romilda Vane to a Christmas party--a private Christmas party.

Ridiculous... why did it feel so tempting?

Title: Dreaming of a Sandy Christmas
Rating: PG
Prompt: #53 ornate golden lamp
Length: 100 words
Genre: romance
Time: post seventh year
Pairing: Theodore Nott/Millicent Bulstrode
"What should we wish for last?" Millicent pondered the gilded curves of the ornate oil lamp in her hands. Dressed in the loose silky robes of an Arabian witch and reclining on a divan, she made quite an sumptuous picture, and Theo admired the sight.

She looked out the window at the rolling dunes of the Nefud desert. "How about a white Christmas?" she giggled, and he smiled. Still the same Millie.

He knelt beside her and kissed her lips softly. "Let's save it. I wouldn't change a thing."

"Prefer your Christmases hot, do you?" she murmured into his mouth.

Title: the White Queen
Rating: PG
Prompt: #85 ice sculptures
Length: 100 words
Genre: romance
Time: fifth year
Pairing: Bill Weasley/Fleur Delacour
Bill Weasley was not the kind of chap who freezes around ladies. He excelled at everything he tried, earning OWLs in every subject and breaking hearts from East Anglia to Egypt. Transferring to a desk job wasn't meant to cramp his style.

Yet despite the fang hanging from his left ear and the dragon hide boots on his feet, he felt anything but fierce as he watched Fleur Delacour float to the front office every morning. She was hauntingly, achingly perfect. He'd heard a few gossipping female coworkers refer to her as "the ice queen".

She had certainly frozen him.

Title: All's Fair
Rating: PG
Prompt: #82 snowball fight
Length: 100 words
Genre: romance
Time: AU post seventh year
Pairing: Viktor Krum/Hermione Granger
The snowball sailed a good foot past Viktor's shoulder. He laughed. "I thought you were leaving the sports to me, mila? Aim is not your strength."

He turned around, where Hermione was trying not to pout and mostly failing. "Oh, and what is my strength?"

"Reading."

Now she really scowled. "Oh, reading? Because I’m just a geek-"

His smile widened. "Only you can read every page of my heart."

For a moment her mouth popped open into an adorable "o", then she blushed furiously. "Disgusting!"

She turned and stomped off, while Viktor stealthily stooped to grab a handful of snow.
