There have been a few big events that have taken place since my last update, these follow-up entries just seem to find themselves a little late. First off, last weekend Emily and I made another visit to Clemson to visit friends and watch the Clemson v. NC State game, which most of you probably already know that Clemson won. Then, that Saturday night we went camping in Oconee State Park, which was great. Somehow, I think I've managed to catch the camping bug because all week I've had it on my mind. I guess I'll have to invest in a tent sometime.
Tuesday of course was the election. We all know the outcome of that, at least I hope so.
The rest of the week was pretty normal with classes and all.
Then, Friday several of the Winthrop FCA group and I drove down to Garden City for the FCA Middle School Retreat and we came back this afternoon. Overall, the retreat went fairly well. I'm not sure if many of the guys in my group actually paid attention to anything that was going on during the assemblies but hopefully they did. One guy in the group did give his life to Christ so that made the entire weekend worth it, even if he was the only one how listened.
I think the middle schoolers completely zapped the energy out of me though, so I'm going to bed
